Detail: The nationally
acclaimed multimedia exhibit Choosing to Participate is open October 22
through February 26 at the Western Reserve Historical Society in Cleveland,
Ohio. Choosing to Participate
presents interactive portraits and powerful stories of racism and prejudice,
courage and compassion. It invites visitors to walk in someone else’s shoes
and ask: “What would I have done?”
Presented by Facing History and Ourselves, this engaging exhibit

choices and inspires them to make a difference in their own schools and
communities. The exhibition is
expected to welcome more than 50,000 Northeast Ohio students, teachers and
residents during its four-month stay. Choosing to Participate has been shown
in Boston, Chicago, New York, Memphis, San Francisco and Los Angeles –
